#9 Need earbuds in Hardware
BvDo you only want earbuds or IEMs?
IEMs are the things that go deep into your ear and earbuds are the normal ones.

Finding a good pair of earbuds with in-line control(which usually means they have a mic) is a pain in the ass even finding good earbuds in general is annoying but:
Sound
Earbuds:
As far as I know there aren't any high quality earbuds and the ones from 10 dollars to 30-ish dollars are pretty much all the same sound wise. Even Apple's earbuds aren't that good sound quality wise but still a notch better than your average buds. Bud wise I'd really recommend the Venture Electronics Monks if you can find them(I got mine from Massdrop) they are a bit bass heavy but otherwise pretty good, the mic is decent as well and they are quite cheap.
IEMs:
I can't really make any recommendations for IEMs but in general the more you pay for them the better quality you get (in theory) and at a certain price point they all come with in-line control.
Mic
The problem with most microphones which are included in buds is that they are fine for phone calls even in loud-ish environments, since most people don't care too much about the audio quality in that case, but for anything that involves a computer they aren't that great. They are fine but not awesome and most of them all sound the same-ish quality wise. The microphone quality can also fluctuate from user to user since the soundcard each person uses differs.

In conclusion I'd honestly just get whichever earbuds you like or own and either get a clip-on-mic(lavalier) or if you want to invest a decent amount of money get a normal mic. Otherwise I can very much recommend the monks if you can get your hands on them since they also have a decent mic.

I need IEM's my bad
