rocketslaythis graph is actually pretty cool. seems like there are small bumps in interest during the summer, especially july/august (i-lans?). but the peaks from the mm beta and "full release" (xd) are absolutely huge.
it's a lot more depressing now though when you think about how badly valve dropped the ball. look at all that interest in comp from the casual community that's dissipated due to valve's incompetence
every two months or so i try valve comp again out of curiosity. i'm on a nearly yearlong streak of encountering a hacker immediately.
i also have to turn dx8 off, which costs me ~60 frames.
