@toasty: the issue is that the degreaser makes playing pyro enjoyable for the vast majority of people

let's assume the players in these lobbies are trying to be competitive with each other. banning weapons means you ban the most powerful unlocks, right? obvious choices like the pomson, wrangler, huo long heater, phlog and bazooka go immediately, but what's next is things like the degreaser, the basher, and the gunboats. these are powerful unlocks, but not overly powerful; they contribute to the overall balance of the game, as the community has found.

this obviously doesn't give any insight onto which weapons need to be fixed; it just gives insights onto the best weapons. plus, it makes playing less fun (who the fuck wants to play highlander pyro without the degreaser)

Hey, I'm drought. Recently in pubs, I've been seeing players tagged up as "lft low open" and stomping. What really scares me, though, is when they start spamming binds about autism and shitting on parents at the pyros with 20 hours in game. I honestly feel like my shittalk is years behind these players, and that it's the part of my game that I most desperately need to improve.

I'm looking for a mentor, hopefully around low-mid IM level, who can teach me the finer points. I'd be willing to have you sit in spectate with me in Skial pubs and give me tips on responses. Maybe even move up to lobbies if I start to feel more confident in myself.
