I think the ETF2L rules are perfectly fine and people are making shit up about why it doesn't work.
Regarding different item banlists: most of the items that are unbanned in ESEA and not ETF2L aren't used anyway so it doesn't make a difference.

etf2l really seems like the best option to me
the level of play is more diverse than UGC (where the highest div is akin to open or even lower), the league wants to and is very interested in expanding to north america.
So long as they are offering this, I will definitely be interested and likely will give it a shot if it shows up around the start of next season.

then i think he made the fursona of his boyfriend a global twitch emote and now everybody's pissed at him
duke bilgewater makes a joke about it and proceeds to get banned from twitch
peaches__ makes his stream title "using my keyboard to REMOVE HORROR"
a twitch admin comes in his chat and tells him to change it or be banned from twitch, and he doesn't change it
