mutiny him mid season to win IM youre welcome
is this what b4nny's visit brought us?
realistically though, i don't think polls are a viable way of selecting who gets the final spot in invite, not to mention there being a limit on invite teams in the first place (will get into this later). i'll admit it, i think a lot of the reason we have more votes currently is because we're the favorable team in terms of popularity, but that's not to say we won't be just as competitive as Uncharted. the way some of you guys are looking at this like "well Uncharted has the most capability of being top 4 !!" is just wrong, i think personally. the way i view invite is, teams who have just broken into invite for their first season together shouldn't be expecting to get top 4, they should use the opportunity to improve, build up individual skill and team chemistry, and prove themselves capable to compete for a higher position in the following season. sure, a majority of their players have already played invite, but all of them individually of each other as well as several seasons ago in some of their cases. i know at least this is how my team will be going into this season, even if we happen not to get promoted, we'd be playing just to improve as much as possible and show we can compete in the following season, and i am pretty sure that Uncharted and even Dagger's team would be going into invite with this mindset, which is good on them and it makes it even more hindering to take the chance away from them.
either way, in a perfect world, i think all three deserve the chance just based on the fact that they all show signs of desire to improve. you guys can say "well you can still improve in IM" all you want, but the fact of the matter is playing higher skill leveled teams will almost always accelerate rates of improvement, and all of the players on all three teams have proven their success in IM, so why not give them a shot in invite? people are always complaining about the recent lack of competition in the division, with all of the older and more experienced players starting to leave, but how can we even attempt to replace them when situations like this arise? i cant really argue the ESEA admins' decisions on available spots in invite, because i'm sure theres a rule that describes exactly why there's 9 slots, but i do think that if a team wants to improve and they're even considerable enough to be put into a poll to be promoted, they should just get the chance anyway.
mustardoverlordI do think dog2 is overall the best choice tho
it basically comes down to if you think froot on pocket is enough of a dumpster fire to negate the rest of the stuff in dog2's favor, which I don't
at least when i tell froot to jump he propels himself at the enemy as opposed to either straight up or nowhere at all
the only african american player remaining
msaamIt's sorta disappointing to see Dagger's team get a guaranteed spot when they are worse than the teams that are probably going to be in the poll, how did that happen?
do they have 2 people from last year who are playing/have they shown themselves to be competitive with invite teams?
they have one player from last season as of right now
i might be able to make it there depending on what week it is
respect for not just outright dying if you happen to not win the poll. best of luck to all the teams in it
evan lyons is a certified pounder
all of these players are great
finally the recognition i deserve
type BabyRage into b4nny's chat and see how long it takes to get banned
