I tried to test out streaming. When I did though, tf2 would crash when i preview stream or start. I tried doing it before and after, replacing the source, and I also tried to verify game cache.
I don't know if it's a hl2.exe problem as i haven't tried to stream other source games. When tf2 crashes, it doesn't open up the hl2.exe box, it just closes
i am running two sources : snip (music name display thingy) and tf2.

Among the whole demo, the viewmodel stays the same, without changing even if i am shooting in the demo. When i appear dead, my model just moves up a little bit and the viewmodel is still there.
I started the demo while in the match, which might be the problem. I was using maxquality from chris' tf2 configs, and nVidia LOD bios tweak.
Help?
Edit : I also found that all of the player models stay where they were when the demo started.
so basically
my solid color textures work like half the time and i would have to close tf2 and join a server again
so it would work. any help???
GrieverDo you mean the hitmarker (on the crosshair) or the damage indicator (value of the damage made)? If you use the updater, you can remove the hitmarker: Customize -> Crosshair -> Uncheck "Image hitmarker"

one more problem i have with it is that all the text and everything is higher than what i believe it should be. I am using the right resolution both in-game and on the updater.

kirbyI miss the times when I was new/newer to this game and I played a shit ton of custom/valve maps that were a lot of fun, but unfortunately do not get played anymore. Hell, I tried playing Hydro the other day, but there wasn't any populated servers playing it.
Yeah. That was why i wanted to find this map. I remember playing maps from servers like "FuG's Convoy 24/7" Which i used to play all the time. Such a shame no one plays it anymore :/

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but whatever. If it isn't, i request someone to move it.
So there was this huge 5cp map i used to play a whole long time ago , i think back in 2008-09. it was one of my favorite maps and i haven't played in in more than 5 years. The middle point was a bridge, with a canyon-like thing below it that you can access and it had a passageway, kinda like 2fort.
From my remembrance, the second point looked kinda like the first point in the second round of dustbowl. Between the points were these huge walkway-like things, as if you were walking in a canyon. The spawn was small and it didn't have any insides. The last point was kinda like C point on junction, there was that room where the point is and there was other stuff.
The whole map was outdoors and most of it looked like dustbowl.
Please help me find this. I'm dying to know the name.

Hey there, make sure you're using the most recent version of the installer found in post #697 of this thread. If you are and it still crashes, if you could please upload the .zip file that's generated in the same folder with the installer and upload it, then send it to me in a tf.tv PM, it'd be much appreciated.
This goes to all people; if you ever get a crash with the most recent version of the installer, if you could please upload it and send the .zip to me or Tree, it'd be very beneficial, as it contains a crash report that tells us exactly where and why the crash occurred, allowing us to work the stability and make it more solid. Thanks. :3

Rays, I tried to install ThinCircle to my crosshair. When i click install, the line at the bottom goes to around 99%, then says "RHupdater has stopped working". Any way to fix this?
Also, Thanks for the HUD. It's the only one that i have really enjoyed and stuck to.
