This Thursday will be the first user-submitted week driven show. I want your demos of you or your team scrimming badlands -- specifically badlands mid. Send me POV or STV (I'd rather STV, if possible) demos to cbeartv@gmail.com. Include info about yourself and your team, and ticks to the mid fights if possible.

Also, I'm still looking for more help with demo selecting/screening. Email if you'd like to help out.

djc joins me to kick off the Thursday night bearTV show. In the future I'll be taking viewer submitted demos (more info on that during the show tonight), but for tonight we're going to cast/review a mixup/LG scrim (one that I believe is a 5-4).

We'll also do some LAN previewing, general bullshitting, and stream question answering. Come join in for what should be a fun evening of tf2.

ALSO: I'm looking to recruit some interested community members to assist me in future shows. I'm in need of people that can help me sift through viewer submitted demos -- helping me pick out which ones should make the cut, giving me ticks to specific in game events that fit the weekly theme, etc.

I'd also like to find someone with some video editing experience. Nothing crazy, but someone to help me trim VODs for youtube.

UPDATE: The stream just isnt good enough yet. I'm thinking Lange and I can figure it out/make changes this week. It'd be dumb to start a show with the stream being less than quality. So, we're going to delay it until Thursday at the earliest, possibly a week from today (next Sunday). Apologizes to all looking forward to the show tonight, but I'd rather have it be at least acceptable quality from the start, and I just cant promise that.. :(

I'll post when I figure out the final details.

EDIT: Also, to make up for today I'm getting Tyrone as my first guest next Sunday. We'll go over demos and have a gay old time.

I would think about it. Only problem I see is making sure I know the guest has personality/is worth having on. Hence me asking my friends. We'll see what comes up.

Hullo friends. My odyssey of building my first computer has mostly been completed. Thanks to MemphisVon, smaka, Lange, and others -- I believe my stream is pretty much ready to go.

The plan as of right now is to start doing two weekly shows on my stream. I'm thinking Sunday + Thursday, though that could change as I attempt to make both into routine. The idea for the Sunday show would be me + a friend going over a demo or two. This should be a great way to analyze high level team/individual play presented in a fun format.

The second show would be me flying solo either casting or going over demos. For this show I'd love to have user submitted demos and eventually shows aimed at certain themes/topics -- such as 'pushing badlands last' or 'granary mid' etc. I expect a steep learning curve while I attempt to deal with the awful TF2 demo interface, but I'm confident that the end product will be enjoyable.

Thanks, Brad. You guys give us more matches like this and we'll try to supply casts to match. Sal + Sud both did amazing jobs last night. When tf2 gets it right, the product is something special. Hopefully LAN delivers more of the same.

If you have friends that play games but not tf2, link them the VOD. I'd put that up against any cast/match/VOD from any of the major esports titles. Great game.
