in terms of the soundtrack touhou 18 loses to touhou 17 by a lot. i kind of expected that since its difficult to beat unlocated hell, idolatrize world and the like. the boss themes are a bit weak but the stage themes are really cool just like the last installment.

i think the primary stalemate problem can be solved by setting the round timer to 3 (maybe even 2) minutes instead of 10. this incentivizes the attacking team to keep up the offense if they dont want to be reset back to a midfight.
