Also, been using these every day since I bought them - they were a last minute purchase before I came on holiday (my Koss Porta-Pros died in one ear, need to send them off for replacement). Sound quality and insulation is ridiculous for the price - I used them on an aeroplane behind a full row of Irish lads on tour and couldn't hear a peep (and sound doesn't bleed either).

My one gripe would be that the metal bit of the earbud sticks out a little far and can hurt your ear if improperly positioned. Also the cable is braided up until the Left-Right split, and I wish it was all braided.

The most common fit for comfort is to take off the tips that come on the buds, and replace with the medium in the box - they are subtly different sizes and most people prefer the replacement tip.

I bought a pair a fortnight ago from DealZone (which was then the default seller on Amazon). The ones I got were definitely legit, but my thought was that with Amazon you've got pretty good protection against fakes anyway right? If the wrong thing does come through (easy to tell) just let them know? (:

I did the latter in my first year before I had my own place, and used a Netbook for the rare times a laptop seemed useful.

If by rollers you mean you are specifically going to watch rollerblading, the South Bank skate spot is pretty damn famous if you're into that scene.

Now, there are obviously an overwhelming number of places to go for great food in London, but have a few cool recommendations:
Wahaca (South Bank stall/ Covent Garden restaurant) - Mexican street-food style (+ a tequila tasting menu!)
Flesh & Buns (Covent Garden) - Order your fluffy white dumpling buns empty, and pick a bunch of different meats to put in them. Tastes goddamn incredible. Also there's hentai as bathroom wallpaper if you guys are stereotypical TF2 nerds.
Belgo (Covent Garden, notice a theme here?) - Belgian-style food. Mussels and stews and dark flavours and really strong beers. Only been once myself but I remember it being really good.
Brick Lane (a street in East London) - The best place to go for a curry in London by popular opinion. Like dining out in India without the week-long illness.
Chinatown - if you wanna get ripped off as tourists and eat the same thing your local takeaway makes.
Wetherspoons (various) - because you want to experience what life is like for the British working class (cheap beer and microwaved meals)

I picked up a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770s at the end of last year on a friend's recommendation. They sound amazing, look damn cool (imo, tastes will vary) and are like a hug for your head. Seriously, I love wearing those things.
