An option that i think was cool and used by TF2Pickup.net is that the medics can choose one player to stay with.
I'm not sure I understand this, could a medic just pick the one invite player mainclassing to stay with and then guarantee that they have a good pocket or combo scout for example? That sounds kind of silly like if banny is added to a pug with a bunch of open players obviously the team with him on it will probably win so wouldn't both medics want to choose the best player to stick with? Maybe I'm misunderstanding idk

GetawhaleI know many people personally who went to Insomnia knowing almost nobody and who had a blast, met dozens of people, and it was overall awesome. Unless you have bad social anxiety or whatnot, which is a totally valid concern, I'd recommend folks just attend if you can afford it and get the time off. It is ALWAYS a fantastic time, regardless of circumstances.
can confirm, this is 100% accurate, i went to i58 knowing literally like two people (thaigrr & funs from na pugs LUL) and met mad people and had a great time

n0habib nut on pretty much every single map, the dude is nuts.
props to the whole of ascent actually. i feel they played pretty well and all they needed to do was leave marm on last while they pushed, or at least flush out the flanks, and the grand finals would have been way more interesting. unlucky.
props to the production crew and bear, bear's camerawork was pretty good imo. also french tf2 lul
