Setting high LOD is not going to help your fps at all.
Im using maxframes with mat_picmic 0 and dxlevel 90, game looks good and im still getting most fps i could get.

cl_crosshair_file "" is default(none).
And if it's changing back after game restart it must be your configs so check them.

fps drop recently?

Defrag your hdd (Defraggler is my choice), clean your pc both ways which are malware/spyware, delete unneeded files that are just taking up hdd space and as well cleaning case and fans etc
Other things that should help are running tf2 in high priority (-high in launch options) and what helped me as well was cl_threaded_bone_setup 2

Nvidia, how would I roll back drivers to use dx8?

SummerSide question, is there any disadvantage to using dx9 (apart from fps obviously) like maybe higher input lag or anything like that?
More of a preference thing. I prefer dx9 because for me it runs smoother and i get the same if not better fps
About dx8 not working on some drivers, that sounds weird because for me it is working just fine on gts250, using 320.18 drivers and have no problems either with dx8 or dx9.

Don't you mean to use dx9? Because i think dx8 is working just fine on any drivers either on ati or nvidia cards

console command for crosshair size?

He's talking about distance from dot, when you select that crosshair it's going to be like in second picture and after game restart it's going to close distance to the dot. It's just that crosshair itself doing it, don't know the command for it.

From user experience which one to choose LG W2363D or Benq XL2411T? Im just looking for the one that wouldn't have any problems with it or just the least problems as well as i am interested in colors on them, if they are fixable by menu or anything then it's fine, because i would watch a lot of movies as well not just play games. There is quite a price difference, but more like is it worth it to get benq?
