It won't have a noticeable effect on aim, although 4:3 does give you a lower FOV so models may look bigger. Some people, myself included, use 640x480 because some CRT's only support 120hz at this resolution.

Really nice guy, was kind enough to take the time to teach me c-tapping (which took quite a while). He definitely has both the aim and jumps to play roamer at a high level.

I'm back home for break for only a week and ended up taking 2 nights away from friends/family only to end up not playing due to client issues. Because I can't afford to take any more days off this week, my teammates have to pay the 60 dollar fee for a backup to play the rescheduled matches. It's disappointing all-around, the client should not be this much of an issue after 15 seasons.

I think shocka's point was really a call for action. A lot of players would benefit from invite players doing more to give back, whether it is in the form of casting, reviews, demos, or simply acknowledging aspiring players. We all play the same game, there needs to be more appreciation coming from the top for the things that fellow players do for them.

I had the pliers in my hand and then I saw vcr's response so I tried that instead. Is there any way to confirm or measure that my monitor is refreshing at 120 hz with the freq command?

I followed the instructions in that link and added a custom resolution, but I don't see anywhere I can apply it in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. It's weird how the monitor has a listed 140 hz max refresh rate but I can only get 100 hz on 800x600 which is already pretty low.
