they're scared of losing the worthless playerbase that only plays for elo.
this is actual feedback, and you've been getting it for a while and never listened: remove elo, or hide it permanently and charge ppl to see it, tf2pl style
its not that nobody is listening its more about trying to find a middle ground (which is what !elotoggle is attempting to be) so we dont alienate too many players. i think elo does have some use even if it makes people play for it/play to win instead of improve or have fun. i dont think too many people would like the idea of charging for elo, even if its done through some kind of credit system in game. either way the final decision is on Nacho since he runs the servers, so if you really want to make sure he knows join the AS discord and message him there.

if it is you could try cleaning the pcb or replacing the faulty switch(es)
otherwise id check /r/mechmarket or amazon third party retailers for a new board

NachoReplayI'm going to throw this out there and see what happens. Ive been working on a casual system for mgemod. Ill be honest I don't want to remove the elo system and here is why. I'm on re-surf quite a bit I'm rank 600 out of 70000ish. If the owner said one day; hay I'm removing the ranking system i would be quite disappointed and down in the mouth about it. I see many people who take the elo score seriously and just as many who hate it with a passion. My personal idea on this is a casual system, for example when you join an arena, say badlands mid; and you don't want to loose elo score do !casual. This will prompt your opponent to also ask for a casual match, if both agree then that arena for that match will not calculate / save the scores. ALSO! I'm looking at a system to block specific classes biased off of preference; for example again, your the first in an arena and you don't want to deal with nonsense heavy, pyro, so on, !whitelist and select only the classes you want your opponent to select. Now obviously this is not going to be structured out and done overnight Ive got many things going on at once and this is something that i would personally like to see. Let me know your thoughts...
maybe have some way to remove yourself from rankings so you're not worth anything instead of removing elo or casual?
i feel like the problem with both of these options is they're too easy for people to abuse to be an ass or cause problems. maybe whitelist standard classes across the board and let !casual allow nonsense classes so the people that want to focus on core 6s classes dont have to put up with snipers and heavy, but anyone goofing around with friends or whatever have the option to play.
