Even though I'm enjoying seeing ESEA competing for their player base and trying to show that they actually care even if we haven't seen it in a long time, I wouldn't like to see them dropping tf2 altogether.

I don't think I can convince my team to play in ESEA instead of CEVO, so I thought of something else. I created this roster http://play.esea.net/teams/81603 , and I encourage anyone who wants to help ESEA TF2 S16 happen to join it and pay the league fees. The join password is helpthem

Hopefully more people could do the same thing and fill the amount of teams needed to see the season played.

I don't think you read my post well because I didn't mention lack of competition as the reason why teams want to play cevo.

In any case I was pointing out the reason I think open teams are not registering for esea, in case anyone wants to do something about it.

if I may point out what I think is going on here, there's no incentive for open teams to play in esea other than a weekend watching high level tf2. by the looks of it not many people is willing to pay two leagues just to get that
