dflameSo when you did the clean install of windows and re-installed steam, did you have tf2 on a external hard-drive or something and just dragged and dropped the files from the external to your main hard-drive. If so try "Verifying the Integrity of Game Cache" in your tf2 options on steam. EDIT: Try this even if you didn't use an external hard-drive.
verifying didn't work for me last night in pug.na but i'll see how it goes when i play tonight
marc01- Go to your computer properties (there are many ways to do this, my favorite is Start+Pause on the keyboard. You can also right-click "Computer" and go to Properties).2- Advanced System Properties.3- For Performance, click Settings.4- Click on "Data Execution Prevention" tab.5- Turn on DEP, Apply, OK, OK, close the system properties Window. This work for me ;)

I get this error and I am kicked from whatever TF2 server I'm in.
I've tried these fixes but it still happens.
I just did a clean windows install on my PC and that's when the problem started. The only program i've installed besides steam so far is spotify and my drivers. Does anyone know any other fixes?
