#3 Scrublord LF Scout/Demo mentor in Mentoring
Alderget a team before you get a mentor so you can go over demos of your matches together

and practice dm in dm/mge servers that are listed under the "servers" tab at the top of the page

and add me if you want a mge partner

Alright, thanks. I assumed mentoring was for players already involved in competitive. If this post is spam I'll try to remove it if possible.

#1 Scrublord LF Scout/Demo mentor in Mentoring

Hello, I'm not sure if I should be posting here, but what the heck. I'll start with my gaming background and TF2 experience I suppose.

I'm fairly new to TF2 and started playing it as a pub game and MvM for those buzzed hours before bedtime. I've played FPS/TPS games competitively in the past, namely H2, which I attended around 10 LAN events for spanning 2006-2008, so I understand the work/concepts requires to be competitive, however, I don't really have an idea of my general skill level in TF2. I'm mostly concerned with improving my DM skill and working on gamesense/strats after my DM is up to par and consistent. This is why I'm asking here, to see if there are any players experienced with competitive TF2, namely 6s, who can help me with DM and obvious gamesense/gameplay issues.

Like I said, I'm not sure what my skill level is really and would like someone help me find out. When I started I played mostly Scout and planned on maybe trying competitive and maining Scout, but lately I've been enjoying Demo due to its unique mechanics and immense potential. I have around 900 game hours and started playing December 2013 casually. I haven't played much the last 2 weeks, but I have all the free time in the world until next year at least and want to give competitive a shot.

My only 6s experience consists of watching games on YT and Twitch and around 20 or so lobbies spread over a couple months, so I'm really inexperienced. I'm willing to play lots of DM/MGE to work on DM/Mechanics and lobbies with anyone who will help me. I enjoy getting smashed by superior players because that has proven to be the fastest way to improve in past games.

Assuming you made it through this wall of text, if you have the time and like teaching/MGE/DM then by all means add me.
