I dunno what people expected from a tournament that was confirmed happening a month before it was due to start. I know that that situation couldn't be helped but I feel like loads of people over hyped this event waaaaaay to much, especially as there was going to be a lot of room for error.

Secondly, the EU community has been so spoiled in terms of community efforts and in quite a few cases end up getting burned as a result, in fact, there's loads of times when this applies to the whole comp tf2 community.

It's the same story over again, a handful of individuals put so much work in to getting progress and delivering on what people ask for, despite the impossible and then just get fucked over from it.

I agree with ya in some ways. Having paid my own way fully to all the LANs I've been too and knowing that other people have without having jobs it does kinda disappoint me to see some people doing such things when I know they are better off and could pay themselves.

LAN is a mixed bag because it has been going up in price every year, hotel accommodation is pricey and with the costs of travelling to and from the place afterwards it's a complete shit show financially.

Having said that, I'm proud to announce that the TF2 TLR team are making the switch to Overwatch! Having just penned a deal with the incredibly reliable Blight Gaming!

I like the current system, mainly down from a scheduling standpoint where there isn't an annoying shitshow and question mark over when they will be played. And having the games going during PCW time means it's not running the possibility of it clashing with real life stuff.

Like I'm not a fan of starting games early during the day whereas I'm down to play later in to the evening, for others though the opposite is more favourable to them.
