Just one guy's opinion, but between your request for nostalgia and a stable emulation I think both the recommended DeSmuMe and heart gold will suit you nicely.

While I get that the face is super distracting and everyone is worried about the legal stuff, the first design is pretty creative and (imo) awesome. I see no reason he couldn't sell that one and I'd probably buy it.

Maybe let half (or whatever portion makes sense after Zazzle takes its cut) go to Plat's never ending lan fund.

I think you've listed all the necessities, unless you want guidance getting started you seem to be on the right path.

I don't own one, but a friend of mine has the Zowie celeritas black. From the short time I spent playing with it, my impression would be its a solid board but really lacks anything to set it apart. For the price, I don't think its particularly worth listing as its the kind of board I would expect to come in closer to 85-90$ instead of 120$. It lacks the prestige and quality feel of a ducky or filco and is just barely cheaper. They claim it has the best response time of any keyboard, I don't know how to confirm any of that if its even possible, but that seems like a weak argument when significantly nicer boards can be had for very little more.

Great list, but I'm a little confused why the "whats a budget" section doesn't have a single ducky board. They make some quality stuff.

Only criticism is definitely making sure this doesn't turn into any invite team's private donation fund. Its a weird line to walk because in theory we'd love to see extra invite action, but having the same team rolling over and over will kill participation and viewership.

My solution would either be the UGC strat of simply limiting the invite players a team can have (2 maybe?) or limiting how often they can participate (every 3rd week is invite week). I know that's kind of a weird distinction to make, but I feel even IM/Open vs Main can make some interesting shows, especially with pug teams, where as the gap into higher invite is just too much.

Even in the HQ download its pretty bright, but much less painfully so.

Sick vid regardless though, always love to see duo or team frag movies especially from such a talented editor.
