Tery_VanguardDLKFroyotech have lost one Bo3 across two intercontinental LANs.
I got curious and did some homework on Froyotech's (map) losses / record.
ESEA Regular Season: 60-4
- 2 maps in S17: both to eLevate.
- 2 maps in S19: to Ascent. (*Includes the forfeit to Hawaii Beach Vacation.)
ESEA LAN / Playoffs: 26-5 (13-1 series) (Includes the "BO3" against Five Dollar Club)
- 2 maps in S16: both to Classic Mixup.
- 3 maps in S19 playoffs: 1 to Street Hoops, the others to Ascent.
iSeries LAN: 27-6-1 (9-2-1 in groups, 17-3 series)
- 2 maps at i52: both during group stages, against Immunity and Epsilon.
- 4 maps at i55: one to TLR, rest to nerdRage. Bonus: they tied against TLR)
CEVO-P S5 LAN: 6-0 (3-0 series) (I'm not sure on this so I just looked to comp.tf)
TFTV Twitch Invitational: ?-2: both to Classic Mixup. (I couldn't quite find brackets, and also there were group stages?)
That's some record of like ~119-17.
They only tied a map with TLR.. They dropped 3 maps to nR and 1 map to Reason.
quality standards on tftv streams getting better and better with every big event, great to see. Really looking forward to what valve has in store and tf2 in general for the coming year.
beautiful coordination from stark and tek
wow valley to valley on mid is a ridiculous sightline
You guys are reading too much into it. You can't argue that having an intensely fought 3 map series is not a great way to prepare going into what should be a very hard fought bo5 grand finals. Sure, he could've phrased it differently but that's just b4nny being b4nny.
I'm not saying that they're not worthy candidates for MVP, just that group stage performances are the least valuable in the context of the whole LAN.
rowrowwhy is tek 3 votes? Did we already forget his first day performance with all those airshots?
>MVP of LAN
>group stage airshots
duwatna going ham on viaduct
iirc the map wasn't casted because esea didn't make the stv available to tftv in time. definitely s16 so it was mix^ vs froyo.

There was a round that was stalemated between mix^ and b4nny's team either s15 or s16 lan.. also on snakewater 2nd to last.
I really hope he was out of ammo there instead of just wanting to melee him...
