#3 School & TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

The real quick logical solution would be to stop playing the game, but from what I read it seems like you find it difficult to do. What I would suggest is studying / writing essays outside home. Maybe in a public library or school library where it is impossible for you to get distracted. What I used to do back in my day when I cared about grades was to study and make my homework on my school library so when I got home I could forget completely about school and relax, play some tf2, do my thing.

frenzyxso i dont get picked in mixchamp or pugchamp, tf2c is kinda shit, and faceit is questionable for me, so a pug group like this is totally fine

Mixchamp auto-generate teams. It's most likely you will get to play. If you don't get to play, the system will put you in a team the next pug.

Smesihow are you gonna divide the player base with one group
just because you play faceit / pugc / mixc / tf2c that doesnt mean ur not allowed to play somewhere else

1 extra group means it needs another 12 players online. Also, If we had only 1 or 2 system, It would be much easier to play more regularly, there would be a lot of more games and it would be easier for beginners to start playing pugs. Instead of having to choose between 4 sites and pug steam groups they would have to choose between only 2 populated sites.

It's just my humble opinion, after seeing multiple threads asking "why is tf2stadium empty? Why is nobody playing Faceit beta? Why does mixchamp take a lot of time ti start a pug?" I don't think a pug steam group would help us solve this. Anyways, do as you please :)

BRKI had the same issue, that when you set something in your advanced options it wouldn't save so all the settings I wanted to change I just put in an autoexec. Hope this helps.

I did put it in the autoexec.cfg but It still records my casual games.

Now that valve has launched a proper demo recording tool inside of tf2, does anybody still use P-rec? Does anybody know how to configure properly the valve demo recorder? Is there a way to bookmark?

For some stupid reason the demo recorder would record everything, including casual games even though I specifically configured it to record only in tournament mode.

I heard somewhere that the best way to use the valve recording tool is to bind a key to record the game. Does anybody use that?
