glassi am collecting a library, so i deal with this a lot.

use craigslist, it has ten million bookshelves on it right now. i usually get them for 10-20. (also don't forget the free section.) if you want new, buy the one walmart sells that you have to put together. 20-30, reliable. they are fairly large/tall, mine holds a couple hundred books if you get creative.
