I remember being in school during the build up for the 2002 World Cup (yes I'm old) and reading the same FourFourTwo magazine with EL Hadj Diouf on the cover every day. Then he won the penalty in their first game and they beat France 1-0. Our school wheeled in the big fat TV and we all watched Nigeria vs England and then Brazil knock England out. They were the days...
The standard of football was a lot better then, but I'm hoping for a good WC this time. The last few have been dull.
