#2 TF2 Randomly Timing Out in Q/A Help

About an hour after I posted this, I got this response:
[Link]

Or if you are too lazy, but still have this problem, here's how to fix this:

KillerZebraHmm. There are a few things we can try. Lets try with an easy one.

Disable steam cloud sync.
in TF2
1. Go to options
2. Go to multiplayer
3. Go to advanced
4. uncheck your "Synchronize with Steam Cloud"

So if you are having any problems, you can do the above as a first step. As to fix it after that, I have no idea, I haven't had any problems.

#12 Mumble and you. in TF2 General Discussion

It's not really distracting for me, but it can cause problems, as my Mumble push-to-talk is set to V, meaning I have to move my fingers to the V key, forcing them not to be able to use several other keys.

I do have a mouse that has programmable buttons that I've just been to lazy to switch my push-to-talk to.

#1 TF2 Randomly Timing Out in Q/A Help

So recently I've been noticing that I will sometimes get timed out from a TF2 server. The server never crashed, as I was able to rejoin a second after it happened. I never disconnected from the Internet, as I was still able to use programs such as Skype, Mumble, and TeamSpeak during the time when it does this.

I have no idea what causes this, I've had this problem in the past, but it went away, and now it's back.

Some fixes that people have already suggested are to forward the ports:
- 27030-27039 TCP
- 1200 UDP
- 27000-27015 UDP

Also was suggested to restart my router sometimes, still to no avail.

So please, can anyone help me?

It looks OK, I'm not a huge fan of the sightlines, or the wall textures. Reminds me too much of orange, probably will be favored sniper map...

#21 The Mouse/Mousepad Thread (last updated Sep. 9, 2013) in Hardware

I use the Mionix Naos 3200, and I love the stupid thing to death.

It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it:
Actual Website
Best Buy Page

It's normally $60, but right now it's on sale for $50!

#20 hud/plugin installer ideas? in TF2 General Discussion
Bubbathis is really cool!
i think broselHUD already has a installer for itself, but it may not be updated idk

If you check the broselhud thread, some user updated some files and fixed the red scout disguise issue in the HUD.

But to the OP:
This looks great, I change HUDs more often than I probably should, and would find this very helpful.

I'm not really a big fan of the fact that some of the fences were made solid.

I dunno, I guess I'll just have to go and have a scrim or something on it and see what big of a difference all of these changes made.
