MarmieWheres animaL and david? :(

Animal found "real life" I believe, last season he was only about for one night a week. As for David, his internet in his new place has been giving him issues. Its as bad as mine, he cant stream on it as of yet

#38 Lange's i49 Thanks Thread in TF2 General Discussion

Lange, it was great seeing you man, all that work you did over the weekend was just amazing. You were the keystone to our bridge. I have no clue how you managed to survive spending an entire LAN in front of a broadcasting PC

#64 I49 VTV Constructive Criticism in TF2 General Discussion

So here is teh 411 with the STV issues. Its out of our hands. Multiplay, the event organizers are trying to fix it, but right now we can't link up an online STV relay onto the LAN STVs

That is the issue, it aint no bias, we're doing all we can with what we have

KerchWill the whole group stage be played on Friday? Seems a lot of maps to play if it's starting at 7pm.

Yup, the group stage is always done and completed on a Friday night, its only BO1 maps

Pass, I don't know people who can do that and we won't know the matches until the event starts

KanecoThis is exactly what I was looking for to schedule my weekend in advance so I won't miss any of the action, thanks skully!

I heard somewhere the final was supposed to start at 10am which I thought was quite strange, mid afternoon is much better because it allows both aussies and americans to watch it.

What about closing times? have any prediction? Particularly on friday, around which time are the groups supposed to be decided?

Will group matches be streamed? Hope there is more than 1 concurrent stream for different matches as well, and in different languages as well such as russian and french

We have 2 streams on our stage (Ok, that's not true, but we have pcs to do casts on VTV2 like we would do a normal online cast), so the idea is to try and get as many games casted as we can, and this year, because you have the top 8 teams in a group, it makes finding games easier, other wise like last year we're looking at trying to cast a prem side against the closest skill team to them, which was hard.

With the entire group stage looking to be finished on the first day Im guessing we're looking at a midnight finish, maybe even to 1 am. As all games in the groups will be BO1.

Because we have the French over, we should be able to get a French cast going, however I think its unlikely that a Russian cast on site will happen, but as STVs will be available, the Russians are more than welcome to do casting at home of the groups and forward.

Having the final at this time as actually the "prime time" for events, and its a rough guide as other finals usually over run and then there are delays. HOWEVER the only final before TF2 is at 10am and is CS:GO so we may be fine with a 16:00 BST time, but add 30 mins and that may be the proper time
