They should've interviewed the winning 3 teams at the end of the whole thing. That would've been nice instead of just ending it after the match :P

I'm using the Quake texture pack and the only major problem I have is not being able to see through the spawn doors. Can someone tell me which file I need to delete so it would go back to the default tf2 one? Or if it's a file. Could someone give me the default spawn texture?
I use it because I think it looks nice and it seems to help with my fps.

As a Newbie cup I don't think it'll be affected by the lan. I personally wait for the Youtube version just because I never catch all of it which kind of ruins the experience. Yes you're missing the chat, however whenever I watch a live match the chat is the last thing on my mind because I'm too focused on the game. Maybe that's just me though.
When exactly does the lan begin?
You could try and make the cup a few days earlier.
