I come back to this thread like every other day to check how many +frags my photo got. I am a sad person.

A lot of pubbers move into lobbies, and just stop there. I know guys with 500+ lobbies who never played a match of UGC or ETF2L. Maybe if tf2lobby made people aware of UGC, they'd move into it. I played in lobbies for ages, and after a couple seasons of ETF2L (even low div.) I found lobbies so much less fun. Now, after starting 6s I find HL less fun. But lobbies are a genuinely decent way of getting into competitive, but surprisingly few people actually make the step past lobbies.

These fucking all ages clubs advertise outside the high school I go to... It seriously makes me feel sick. What's even worse is that people go to them...

I don't know if this is going to make me seem stupid or something, but with the shitstorm surrounding the whole bitcoin fiasco in ESEA, I'd like a simple explanation of Bitcoins. I've read a couple articles on bitcoins (http://www.economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2013/04/economist-explains-how-does-bitcoin-work) and I sort of understand how they are generated, but I don't get how this converts into anything of actual monetary value, or what the point of buying/selling bitcoins is for the exchange companies.
If no-one wants to explain this, I understand because there's no reason to, but I'd appreciate an explanation as to how this works. Maybe there're even other people in the same position.

I've looked around and I can't find an EU equivalent of tf2mix, ie. low-mid level HL pickups... Is there something I'm missing, or does one simply not exist?
