#6 Config help in Customization
VulcanYou have unbindall in your config, which will unbind your text binds, and your exec nullmove script is doing nothing because you put it before unbindall, so you might want to move it after unbindall

Hmm on my screen unbindall is on the very top and before all binds, so it should't change anything.
Still pointless to have it, since the binds in your autoexec/class config will override all previous binds anyways.

#5 Config help in Customization

Why do you have like your entire autoexec in your spy.cfg?
The point of class configs is to only have those commands that you want to change for that class specifically.
I mean it's not really breaking anything, it's just a lot more convenient and less confusing to only keep the essential stuff in you class configs and keep everything that's the same for all classes in your autoexec and you probably fucked up your binds because there's such chaos in your configs and now it's that much harder for you to find the error.
I think the best way to do it is to make like a standard.cfg file and put exec standard in all your class configs.
Now if you have a bunch of commands that are different for one class, but the same for the 8 other classes, you don't have to copy them into all of your class configs, but only in your standard config and keep the class configs clean.

If you do that and keep all the stuff you don't want to change from class to class in your autoexec, your binds should work fine.
Just put the binds in your autoexec. No need to have a extra cfg for it.
But if you really want to keep an extra config for the binds, just put "exec binds" in your autoexec.
Like I said, stuff that you don't want to change on different classes doesn't belong in your class configs.

#50 Original or Stock? in TF2 General Discussion
maxc232cow mangler on roamer is so relaxing, spam and charge shots for days

Do people (who know what they are doing) actually use the charged shots?
Never felt like they were very useful, but then again I never used the mangler much.

#49 Original or Stock? in TF2 General Discussion
VulcanVulcanI really wish there was a setting that made all weapons fire from the middle, and make it like cl_interp in that you cant change it in game so that it cant be abusedRentQNI wish valve would just implement an option to center every rocket launcher. Like tf_flip_viewmodels 2 or whatever. Not changeable while connected to a server so you can't abuse it.
You even used the same words as me

Didn't read all posts. Guess the idea just isn't all that unique?

And I don't see how I used the same words. Considering we said the same thing, there are actually surprisingly few matching words.

#27 Original or Stock? in TF2 General Discussion

I use the original, because I feel like I'm more consistent when the rockets come from the center and I hardly ever use other rocket launchers like the direct hit, black box or cow mangler, so I don't have to worry about not being used to rockets coming from the side.

Just sucks that the stock looks better in general, has skins, australium, botkiller, cheap strange versions and the original has non of that.

I wish valve would just implement an option to center every rocket launcher. Like tf_flip_viewmodels 2 or whatever.

#3 Quake live in Off Topic

QL costs money now? Last time I played it it was for free :O

Anyways, quake in my opinion is one of the greatest FPS games of all times and you should definitely give it a go.
You'll still find players to play against. The game has a relatively small but very dedicated player base.

That being said, if you do decide to buy it, be prepared to get rekt hard.
The game has a insanely high skill ceiling and there are a lot of players who have been playing the game exclusively for like 10 years.
The game is old and there are not a lot of new players in it, so the average skill level is very high and you can't expect to do ok in pubs after a couple of days like in other games.

bearodactylcan you not just manually edit the one line to make it min mode?

It's not just one line. There's a whole bunch of files that need to be changed for min-mode.

VulcanRentQNVulcanRentQNVulcanRentQNThere's really not enough of a difference between the 3360 and the 3310 to warrant buying a new mouse if the old one still works for you and you like the shape.
If you really want a 3360 mouse tho, I definitely recommend the Logitech G Pro.
G pro has a worse shape than the g403 and the g403 wireless is even better. The 3360 spins out way less but spinning out the 3310 is incredibly hard, so yes you don't need to upgrade just for the sensor

Shape is purely subjective. Honestly, it's pretty ignorant to flat out say one shape is better than the other.
I personally prefer the G Pro, because I like ambidextrous mice and because it's smaller.
It's also lighter, which is a pretty big deal to me.
So I personally prefer the G Pro in every way.

Obviously he might have different preferences, but since he's asking about the DM1 Pro, which is also a ambidextrous and relatively light and small mouse (like the G Pro) and is looking to get away from his EC1-A (ergonomic shape, bigger and heavier, like the G403), it made sense to recommend the G Pro and not the G403.

It's not ignorant to say one mouse has in GENERAL a safer shape than something else
And he said he wants a new mouse because he wants to up his game and he wants a mouse similar to the EC but with the 3360. And the g403 is more popular among EC users than the g pro

Alright so that's a pretty stupid example. If you're saying "saver shape" than ambidextrous is definitely "saver". And so is a smaller and lighter mouse.
Maybe you could say "better" or "saver" if you compare a shape that is completely out there and super far away from the norm with a really generic shape. But that's definitely not the case with the G Pro and G403. They both have pretty standard shapes.

Also, he didn't exactly say he want's a mouse similar to the EC, he said the DM1 Pro is similar to the EC, which I'm not really sure what he's talking about there. But since I'm pretty sure he realizes that they are not very similar in shape, I just assumed he meant, build quality, no gimmicks, just the essentials etc.
The point of the example is that there are exceptions to everything, and there is bound to be at least one person who finds the first shape more comfortable, but in general most people will like the latter. I have no idea where you got the idea that ambidextrous mice are generally better than others, but I can tell you that it's simply not true.

And he specifically said if he should get the dm1 pro S BECAUSE the shape is similar to the EC.

I never said ambi is better, just that I prefer it and, to use your argument, "saver" as in more people will like it, since it can be used by lefties aswell and there's more different ways to grip it so it doesn't have to match your hand as much to feel comfortable.

#1 Any way to remove the laser dot from sniper scope? in Customization

Pretty much the title. Is there any way I can remove the red/blue laser dot from the snipers scope?
I realize you can't stop it from being visible to other players, since that would be cheating, but is it possible to make it invisible for myself? Maybe mess with some animation files or something?

#9 What is b4nny's resupply bind? in Q/A Help
TyrovicI tried that but all it says is that the command is not valid. It says bind <key> [command] : attach a command to a key everytime i put load itempreset in console

What exactly did you put in the console?
It should be:

bind "key" "load_itempreset 0"

Don't forget the "" and replace key with the name of whatever key you want (should be something relatively easy to reach that you don't use for anything else yet).
