#5 How my steam chats usually go: in Off Topic

1) When I start my computer, Steam is set to autolaunch. Which is great. Except the part where it runs without being functional, and I have to end the process a few times before it actually wants to work.

2) DO YOU WANT TO FOREVER VALIDATE CACHE FILES? YEAH YOU DOOOO

3) Onlinebutjkoffline people. Also

4) Steam client stops working. Can see/hear received messages, but can't access anything. Alternatively, the Community part of the client freezes, everything else functions.

#17 not motivated in life in Off Topic

I wouldn't say to get a car if it isn't a necessity, or if at the moment it wouldn't benefit you the most. Still, it's a good goal.

My dad is a barber, and he gets a lot of young men in his shop that don't know what to do with themselves. His advice to them is to figure out what kind of car they want to drive, how many vacations they want to take in a year, what kind of house they want to live in and/or where, and how much they want to make per year. Then, figure out how much money you would need for all of those things, and find out what jobs would allow you to have that kind of lifestyle. Shoot for one of them.

I would say the motivation is where you want to be later on in life: having a good time, or scraping by?

It's more tolerable if you schedule your time and stick to it, so that you get important things done but still allow yourself recreation and relaxation.

For those who bought it, were you given the option to keep games in your steam inventory as opposed to putting them in your library?

#1 Couple of questions video narration/commentary in Off Topic

I've never casted or narrated anything, so I have a couple of questions about such things.

Do people generally write scripts for speaking videos? If they don't, how do they keep up a continuous speech without struggling at the uh and um?

Some people naturally have nice-sounding voices for the task. If you don't think that you do, is there anything to be done about it, anything that can be learned or practiced to make the voice more pleasant?

lazybearalfunksoIt's pretty much the same as with any fps, if you're not talented (if you're ugly) you have to just try hard and practice a lot to get good and be succesful. Eventually you'll get to handle women.
That's actually a very good way to put it

But you're fixing your skill in the video game. You aren't fixing your aesthetics unless you're paying for plastic surgery.
