#28 LFT Mid-High Open Demo S22 in Recruitment (looking for team)

There's nothing here I can say better that Jojo hasn't said already, but I can bump!

Very smart, level headed, analytical player who has grown astronomically in his first season of open. Nice and fun to have in mumble. Has been helping me learn to be more analytical.

If you don't give him a shot you are missing out.

#15 scout lft mid open s22 in Recruitment (looking for team)

My god the indecency demo?! No wonder he's been playing so much demo in DM!

I used to pug with this man a long time ago. He's a pretty big meme, but isn't toxic or anything.
He also changes his name all the time.

#4 Medic LFT - ESEA-Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

I've had diashock med for my scrim team the past month or so.

He works very well under pressure and I've never seen him rage, despite my pocketing. His mechanics are pretty decent and he hits some sick arrows (probably from being a former scout main), good heal distribution on rollouts. He could use some work on positioning and uber tracking, but he's chill enough to take critique and he'll do well in open. I regret not having the time to really sit down and help him with it!

We've taught him to heal scouts, so that's another plus! He's not a stranger to working with a gunboats pocket.

Very cool guy, great taste in mechanical keyboards, fun to have in mumble and reliable (shows up to scrims). Would definitely recommend for low or mid open team.

#4 I got your back, b3nny in The Dumpster

Why would someone who was losing an argument so badly take a picture of themselves and post it to the internet? Truly a mystery.

Have you SEEN this man shoot. Pick up to win viaduct week.

Definitely the dm-heavy scout, but not silent and makes some good decisions too.

SO MUCH DAMAGE

#8 LFT Scout (Low/Mid Open) in Recruitment (looking for team)

There's not a lot I can say that an endorsement from IM scouts doesn't already do.

She's played with my lower open scrim team over the past month or so, and she is great to work with. Good, positive attitude, and if you tell her to work on something she'll do it. Good availability too - she was a team leader in the past and takes communication and being there for team stuff seriously.

Many scouts are more silent and rely mostly on their DM, and she's not one of them. Smart, vocal player. Picks up things quickly and plays intelligently. I will say there's still much for her to learn as she's coming from UGC, but it's nothing a couple map and demo reviews won't fix and if you're a reasonably dedicated team you'll be doing that anyway.

Easily mid open.

#2 Zoma LFT Demo in Recruitment (looking for team)

Zoma is one of the smartest, most dedicated demo players I know. He watches both himself and others play quite regularly, and he picks up all kinds of weird and effective strats. I will be very surprised if he doesn't make IM in the next season, if he doesn't get outright picked up by an IM team in preseason. He has grown incredibly quickly in his two seasons of open, and I don't see him stopping anytime soon.

He'd do well on a serious, dedicated team with plenty of demo reviews. He would also do well in a team that lets him be a strong voice in the combo.

#1 Redshirt LFT Open Med/Pocket/Scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

NOTE: NOT playing scout - I have carpal tunnel in both wrists. Mostly just LFT mid open pocket.

SUPER NOTE: ESEA announcing the season earlier then I anticipated means I am going lft officially, but I will be out of town on vacation and away from my computer August 10th to the 17th.

Looking for S23 as pocket (mid open is nice) or med (high open only). I'm looking for a stable, positive, non-toxic and mature team that wants to improve and have fun.

I've really been enjoying the pocket class over the past season. While my pocket won't be going anywhere near playoffs next season, I plan to keep putting in the effort needed to make it there someday. My strongest aspect is my maincalling, and my weakest aspect is still my DM, both which I will continue to work on over the course of S23.

If you know me, you know I'm a med main. I am tired of playing this class in low and mid open - been there, done that. I may play this class for the right gamers - people who are positive, mature, and kinda know the game and have been around a little while. However, I need some work to become worthy of high open. Improving my pocket has done wonders for my med mechanics, gamesense, and awareness, but I have a ways to go yet. I've plateued at mid open for a while now and will want to make the jump to high open/IM on your team.

If I'm on pocket I'll want to maincall. On med it depends.

You can see my four full rostered seasons in Open on my ESEA profile (one on a low open team as pocket, rest as med on low or mid open teams). I roster rode on That's So Randal, but mained on the rest.

#2 Ubuntu Mumble cannot suppress push to talk key in Q/A Help

The version of Mumble in the Ubuntu repos is always a bit behind. The surpress function probably isn't in 1.2.8.

You have a couple options.

  1. If you don't mind not having a push to talk, you can just select the shortcut and press the Remove button.
  2. Try installing the latest version of Mumble using the Mumble repo instead of the Ubuntu one.

You can add the Mumble repository using their wiki here: https://wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Installing_Mumble#Ubuntu

There's no glory to pointing out a 5v6 win against a newbie mix team. We want to encourage these players, not snark at them for being newer.
