#45 Metro: Last Light for 1 cent on Best Buy in Other Games

http://i.imgur.com/4iEdNxo.png

Just got an order confirmation email from them. So, they may still be sending them out.

EDIT: They changed the status, it's now saying "Sold Out Online" instead of Add to Cart. Looks like they found it. :/

#9 patch 7/11 in TF2 General Discussion
Rockkkkkkkatmobadlands window not fixed
this is what i got back in an email.
Thanks for all of the information surrounding this part of cp_badlands. It is very helpful for us to know when things unexpectedly change in maps and content, and we really appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

The mix up here is that we changed the collision on the widow to be solid in the CP version of this map in late 2008, and have been using this version of the map internally since then - Internally it appeared as if no recent changes had been made to that geometry. However, these changes were never updated to players. When we shipped the map with the recent update, these old fixes as well as the new ones made their way to players.

For now, we would like to monitor how these changes settle as the intent is for that window to not be a player passable space.

Thanks again,
-cAyle

OH HO HO, let's keep an in house version that doesn't match up, make a shit ton of changes, and then send it out. Lmao

#4 Rust Beta Keys in Other Games

I remember when there was a universal key that Garry gave it, it worked for anyone. I think he deleted it though. Sorry.

#1 Interesting Outlook on Games - TED Talk in Off Topic

I found this TED Talk and I thought it was interesting. I know some people have had some moments of depression on these forums and have reached out to the readers of TF.TV. This might change your outlook on life, maybe? :)

Yeah, should have asked for advice without the stupid remarks. Would have made it much more simpler.

It's over. We have found some closer and have parted ways. This season of Open was fucking emotionally exhausting. Damn...

#82 When is it time to quit? in Q/A Help

Stop raging, honestly, I tried talking to you, Red, yesterday, and you blew me off. Please lock this thread before anything else starts up. I didn't mention anyone in this thread at all. It was, as many others have stated, a passive-aggressive way of dealing with the situation that I've never been encountered with.

It would be easier to explain everything to you guys so you would understand where I'm coming from. But who really gives a shit anymore? This thread turned into back and forth bickering and from parties not listening to each other.

I'll keep this in the bookmarks for future reference though, the advice was well taken. Thank you everyone.

Lock it up! Show's over.

kirbyif the rest of your team really wants to play with you but they also want to play with the other guy (which i would find ridic if it's as bad as you make it seem), i would just give them an ultimatum. either he gets cut or you leave (if the problem isn't resolved). tell them it's a waste of you time and theirs, but if they want to continue dealing with this dickwad, then they can do it without you.

it sounds harsh but you gotta do what you gotta do. don't let others hold you back, which it seems like this guy is doing.

but honestly, i would talk to the guy who's being a problem. talk to him alone or with your team, whichever you (and maybe your team) feel like doing. work it out with him, explain the problem. don't sugar coat shit. sugar coating the situation could just make it worse. if he says he'll fix things, then put trust into that statement and see if he does. if nothing changes, then yeah, what i said before might be a good idea.

edit: noticed that you might have resolved the issue. good luck!

Thanks. It's sometimes hard to talk though. I don't want to insult the guy more, but I talked to him last night after the thread and he was being immature about it. (Well, so was I by making the thread.) But, I tried talking to him and he brought up contradicting points, making random stuff up, etc. It's just a hard decision and it's the first time that I felt that I needed to do this.

I'd like to thank sildeezy and Arx for two very long, informative posts. I guess this wasn't the best idea, the passive-aggresivess wasn't needed. However, this is still the first time i've been in this situation: Cut because it's not enjoyable, or don't cut and have "the fun just dripping from the back door."

Thanks for the advice, everyone else, thanks for keepin' it entertaining for the crowd. Hopefully, I can have a nice discussion with the team about this problem when everyone is back.
