My computer right now is something you can classify as a toaster. With nohats mod, and chris's maxframes config, using the benchmark method found here, the results are

2639 frames 48.227 seconds 54.72 fps (18.27 ms/f) 5.390 fps variability

CPU: AMD A4-3400 APU oc to 3.3Ghz (from 2.7)
GFX: Nvidia Quadro 600

dxlevel (default is 90): 81
Resolution: 1280x720
Full-screen or windowed: windowed
FPS configs enabled: Chris maxframes
Shadows enabled/disabled: disabled

I was considering buying a GTX 750ti, I was wondering if I could expect much of an fps increase, or if the CPU is so bad that it wouldn't help, and I should instead save for a better computer later.

He was never actually claiming that ash was cheating.

He was simply saying that any internet problems that ash may have had led to a similar effect, and as such, froyo should have been forced to use a sub who wasn't rubber banding all over the place. Yes it was an interesting decision. Maybe it was the wrong one.

Also, saying that no-one should be allowed to reschedule because dates were known well in advance is ridiculous. Yes, players should try to make that day clear. But sometimes, shit happens, and you can't make that day. Would you seriously expect someone to miss a job interview, which came up and can only be done on that day, just to attend an online tf2 tournament? I'm not saying that was what happened, but you simply saying "no rescheduling" is ridiculous.

Anyway, just an opinion. Looking forward to s19 anyway.You don't pick who you are playing with based solely on stats and who is technically the better player. There are many factors and you can't possibly know without being on(or close to) the team
This, and just to expand more on what shrugger said, you could get the best player around but he might not be the best fit for the team as personality/cohesion/approach are important factors that must be valued above everything else imo.

When I formed eLevate I picked the people I had most fun playing with and who I thought can/keep improving in the long run so that we would get better together instead of individually. I could say it payed off in the end as we went from #4 to solid #2 throughout the seasons and played the game for fun mainly.

However, grape played with them for three (ESEA) seasons, along with some CEVO. I would just expect any large personality/cohesion/approach problems would surface before now, especially seeing as the roster didn't change between s17 and s18 (I'm pretty sure). I'd therefore assume problems with the new roster would have occurred in s17.
