#63 Emotional Experiences in Off Topic

Dad visited me in Ithaca during a College for High Schools student program. We drove to the Syracuse mall to go to the Apple store. While walking through the Mall we heard screams right across from us. My dad looked from a distance, and then he said, "do not even think of moving." I was scared. His tone was different. My dad ran across, bulldozed some people, and approached the scene. A foot locker worker had fallen while reaching for dem new Iverson's and fell on his head cracking it open. He suffered from epilepsy. With the mans skull partially exposed and blood gushing out, my father told everyone to calm down and step away. He held the skull intact and stopped the blood from leaving his head. At this point I was freaking the fuck out. Sad, happy, scared, all over the place. My dad held the mans head together for 15 minutes while paramedics got there. He wiped off his hands and walked away, onlookers just fucking astonished at this random dude who seemingly did the impossible. I am in absolute tears because I assume the guy died. Turns out my father had been through much much worse and holding a strangers skull together to prevent blood loss was easy for him.

Went back to the mall like a year later, and happen to ask about the worker. Turns out he went back to work 2 days after the incident. Gotta get paid.

#21 Lan Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

We have 5 people at most available tonight - we will be missing Seanbud, Zbryan, and Boulder. At varying times did we find out they could not play.

Would like to play Sunday, but if you cant do that then its all good. Season has been pretty solid so far.

We wont be on as a team tonight.

#5 You are needed in Recruitment (looking for team)

To be fair we actually started the season with a set 6.

And immediately we had to use a "backup" because Relic went to Taiwan for two weeks.

We have had 2 paid backup's all season.

The decision to drop carnage (our only "cut" unless I am mistaken) was a team decision and we did understand we might have an issue this week.

Both Mason and Alfa did not think of the ESEA rules when saying "Yes" to joining.

So here we are asking for some help

#1 You are needed in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello,

ESEA's site used to have a cool FREE AGENTS thing, you could click it and see who was not on a team but had played yadda yadda.

Top Guns needs a scout or soldier or medic tonight

Zbryan is on Vacay

Grape is on a Vacay

We were going to have Alfa play over carnage but he joined some team to backup and team-join rules yadda yadda

We were going to have Mason play but he joined some team and then kermit left that team, mason has the same team join rules.

I know there is some decent player out there who would like to play.

The issue is the 50 (might as well be 100) ESEA fee is there

and we have to watch our team transactions.

You can answer here or add me on steam "purefuckyou"

I played a bit of Modern Warfare. It is a lot like this game. They brought the game over to PC, Modern Warfare that is, and it took like 5 months for the game to be patched so it worked for everyone. Literally flame wars for months. Just telling you not to hold your breath. And if you want to play a game like this try Modern Warfare. I used to stream it its relatively fun.

#5 Did one step camp say anything about the c-drive? in TF2 General Discussion

Spoke with Jeff, the President of the organization.

Sean and he were setup to make the transfer two weeks ago but it was held up due to a number of donations still coming in and Jeff being out of town for some time.

Jeff is going to be reaching out to Sean in the next couple work-days to finish off the transfer. Which is good news.

Additionally, I wanted to let you know that the TF2 community, and those "outsiders," who contributed single handedly made it possible to send 30 kids to camp. That is pretty amazing.

There is also some other awesome news, but I will let Sean tell you about that.

Anyone live in Chicago? ;)
