Nah, I'm sure it wasn't an actual surf map. When I said surfing, I meant browsing.
Back when I was extremely new to TF2, I remember I was randomly server surfing and came upon this map. There were a few people on it when I checked the leaderboard, but I only actually saw one or two players at the spawn on my short time there.
The map itself was like some facility. A seemingly endless series of hallways, extremely dark, illuminated only by red emergency lights. I think the floor was catwalk-esque. Y'know, industrial, metal grated floors, maybe some metal railings. I guess I got bored as I left soon after wandering around.
This memory has been haunting me for 3 solid years of my life and I would love you for life if you found me the name of this map.
