You are missing nothing. I brought this up several times during my dispute with the admin. Doesn't understand or care.
More importantly, its not in the rules at all so they are just doing whatever they want.
P strange ngl, they should put whatever policy they have in the rulebook. Seems like a frequent issue, especially in main.
For those wondering about the ffw being 4-0 it is because the team died without notifying admins before matches were scheduled and there is indeed a rule about awarding full match points if the other team has indeed disbanded
"The team that requested the forfeit will be awarded 1.6 match points. Teams can reschedule and play again to play for
the remaining 1.4 match points. Match points do not get redistributed until both teams make up the match, or in the case of a team disbanding without notice before or after the match or being unable to reschedule the forfeited match. In the cases of disbandment or failure to reschedule, the other team will receive full match points."
