I've got a HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0XX atm and i'm looking to juice it up a bit . I don't know much about tech stuff so i'd be happy about some input about what parts would work well / which parts i should replace.
I'm pretty unhappy with the cooling of the graphics card, on tf2 it stays around 50 degrees but on more modern games it jumps up to 80 degrees. i guess a different case and coolers will help with this?

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB
16gb ram ddr4 DDR4-2400 SDRAM
Mainboard Intel H270
and 2 harddrives 1 128 gb ssd and a 1tb hdd which im pretty happy with
tried to get as much information as possible but i couldnt find any specifis on the motherboard or the memory

downgrade your nvidia driver to this version, its a problem with the new drivers

fixed by downgrading to nvidia driver 446.14

enable fullscreen optimizations fixes it but i get way worse frames with it. do you know by any chance to which driver version i should downgrade?

sometimes when i alt tab, my mat_monitorgamma resets to 2.2. checking console it still says 1.6. i have to change the value to something different and then back to 1.6 to get the high gamma back. Now and then this also happpens when i launch tf2 out of the box. Another issue that comes with it, is that it drastically drops my fps to bellow 140.

does anyone know how to
a) remove the team color from the round timer
b) edit the healing ui, so it only shows the uber % and the health of the medic, no name, no item name, no grey boxes etc

id probably start making moves around august/september. its a 2600. not really expecting an improvement on tf2, however its the only game i can really run besides csgo maybe since to my knowledge they are more cpu heavy i guess. like i said id love to make a complete new build and just gift this old one to a friend or sell it for a few bucks.

i have an intel i7-2600 CPU @3.4ghz i could scavange, however i would like to get an all fresh new pc. just need a new pc, got peripherals on deck.(if you are meaning mice, monitor and such with peripherals)

Looking to build a pc this coming summer. i dont have any experience with it so far, my current one is a 5 year old pre build. I desire to play tf2 and overwatch at 1080p with consistent +144 frames, my budget is about ~900€ but if needed i can spend a bit more on it.
