#76 Time-sink tv series? in Off Topic

the simpsons (newer episodes are less funny),
south park,
the boondocks,
The Wire (best show ever, seriously),
boardwalk empire (also amazing),
Nathan for you (show about a guy going to epic lengths to troll businesses and people in general, don't think it is scripted, some times I wonder though).
stay away from true blood and heroes unless you find the horribleness of their writing and acting hilarious.
Out There (this show is pretty out there...heheh)
game of thrones, is pretty good
house of cards, is amazing

#21 Mousepad, help me choose one. in Hardware

I have the QCK Heavy and it is pretty awesomely big. I love the way it feels when I move my deathadder 2013 across it. However I have a problem with dust collecting on the mouse pad and getting in the eye of the mouse. But when that happens I just throw it through the wash and coolio no more dust. Have had it for a few years now and have taken good care of my mousepad and its still in fine condition. Granted I used to play at 26 inches per 360 when I played CS 1.6 which was perfect for the mousepad. The higher the sensitivity the less you'll have to lift your mouse so the size should only matter if you're talking about low sensitivities.
personally I wouldn't give a shit about razer saying the mousepad is designed for speed/control that's just marketing.

#19 my pistol is bad in Q/A Help
shruggerbut pistol is more useful in mge than it is 6v6, I would think that mge would form the habit of using pistol TOO much

i agree with this. though because of the way i aim a scattergun my pistol is inherently good. maybe that's because i practiced pistol aim from wasting scattergun so hard when i first started playing lol
really though the pistol is only a good idea in so little situations compared to the scattergun i would use the pistol as little as possible in a real match

#18 140,000 viewers for Evo MVC final... amazing in Esports
OhMyZeusMikeikeikeikeikeikeFor the record, the commentators on the smash stream were horrible.
Nope, they were actually pretty good.

half the shit they said wasn't even about the match or correct, they even started comparing melee to brawl (as if anyone gives a shit about brawl at a melee tournament) during a match, they tried too hard to predict what would happen next and were always wrong, they would just say shit out of their ass to be funny or to sound intelligent. To someone who doesn't know anything about smash they would seem like good casters, but they were not.

grillzI never play or watch fighting games... I've played maybe 2 hours of SSB (I don't even know which one I played) but I was able to enjoy and keep up with all the games this weekend thanks to the commentators.

I really hope that's how newbie TF2 players feel when they watch our streams....

For the record, the commentators on the smash stream were horrible.

Not_MatlockLucky_PierreWonder if TF2 can learn stuff from the gradual rise and rise of some of the older games that are now getting massive audiences. That's mostly because developers/publishers are learning that they can make big money from these tournaments.

Valve's got other things on their minds than comp TF2.

you're right, aside from nintendo trying to ban the streaming of the melee they helped in absolutely no way at all.
