#73 Rhapsody's Performance Config in Customization
RhapsodyI'm constantly adding convars that we discover that increase performance. There is most definitely a gain.

M0re's fps config from several years ago still gives me more(might not apply to other people but it will at least give you just as much) fps than your config(that gives me almost the exact same fps as chris' configs) so I'm not so sure about your statement.

#49 Rhapsody's Performance Config in Customization
DaStabajHe didn't benchmark maxframes, so if you're using max, you probably wouldn't benefit from m0re's.hooliliterally the only difference between highframes and maxframes are these cvars

mat_picmip 2
mat_specular 0
mat_trilinear 0
mp_decals 1
r_decals 1

Almost no difference.

#5 how is this possible in TF2 General Discussion
BeaterMight be related to this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YBf_-KlmpY

In your video you can clearly see the time speeding up when you fire those "machine gun rockets". This does not happen in the video the OP posted.

#62 9/10/14 update in TF2 General Discussion

After this update I get an average of ~25(!) fps more with dx9 than with dx8 (tested using this demo: http://teamfortress.tv/thread/7598/tf2-benchmarks). Before the update it was the other way around. Might be just me but I guess it's worth trying.

#8 Can't find out what's messing up my overlay in Q/A Help
Sakkeus_IIDave_-nod3d9ex in your launch optionsI've heard this drops fps drastically and I don't use it.

How about you just test it instead of listening to random things you heard on the internet? It takes like 5 minutes and is a potential solution to your problem...

If she can't even tell the mood of her own cat she deserves it. No need to blame the cat.

#2917 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization
komorebiSorry for spamming but I have another dumb feedback question. I prefer the aesthetics of one of these options but feel the other is more practical; I think if there were a majority opinion I'd probably go with that as right now the two are very even for me.

Not trying to be rude but basically copying all the features from f_blue's edit and calling it an "update" is not the way to got imo.

While this looks really nice and all I question the practicality. Not seeing your health from corner of your eye can be a big disadvantage.
