#469 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

In case you guys were wondering, if ESEA does die you can sign your team up for CEVO up until Week 7. As long as you pay up you can complete the season. My team decided that they wanted to pay the ESEA league fees, and if it falls apart we'll have a backup plan.

Week 1 begins this week.

Can you do me a favor and link your UGC Profile?

From the look of your past broadcasts, it seems like you're a really active streamer. That's awesome! however we want our streamers to stream mostly TF2 content, and you tend to play other games more than TF2. In fact, when I turned your stream on just now you were streaming BF4.

In the last 5 days you had 5 TF2 streams and 21 other game streams. I can't add you at this time.

#29 [SOLVED] Mumble Overlay Doesn't Show in TF2 General Discussion

wait so you're saying i should use the true Admin account 24/7 as my usual account that I log into? I did have to set my slider to "Never notify" on both my normal account and my true admin account, but I'd like to change it back if possible as I'm worried that it is a potential security issue.

#27 [SOLVED] Mumble Overlay Doesn't Show in TF2 General Discussion

Joshuawn:

Thanks for the very detailed instructions! I follow them and after typing in "net user administrator /active:yes" I was not denied. I proceeded to log out and back in through my administrator account when I encountered an issue:

http://i.imgur.com/TgeOkS4.png

D:\Program Files (x86)\Mumble\mumble.exe
A referral was returned from the server.

When I tried to use mumble.exe that is the error message that I received. As you can see from the screenshot, there is a mumble11x.exe that I was able to open, however Mumble version 1.1 does not have an overlay.

So I reinstalled mumble snapshot 1.2.5-248-g640b532 on my C drive and proceeded to try and test my overlay.

IT WORKS!! Super stoked. It even works on my original user account!
Question: Is it possible for me to change my user permissions back to the way it was before without screwing this up? How do I ensure that this doesn't screw up in the future?

Thanks again for the help. I really appreciate it!

Our sidebar sorts streams by the game that you tell Twitch that you are playing, so please keep that in mind. Bump this thread next week when you fix your VODs so that 50%+ show TF2

Hi Vortex,

I can't add your stream because your stream appears to mostly feature DOTA 2 content (see screenshot below). For more information about TF.TV stream requirements, please check out this thread.

Thanks!

#18 [SOLVED] Mumble Overlay Doesn't Show in TF2 General Discussion

Thanks for the suggestions! Tried to do the following fixes (to no avail):
-Uninstalling Nvidia GeForce Experience
-Completely uninstalling Mumble and then reinstalling version 1.2.3
-Uninstalling Java 64-bit and installing Java 32-bit
-Using the -nod3d9ex command in different combinations
-Running TF2 in windowed mode in different combinations
-I've never installed sweetfx

#11 [SOLVED] Mumble Overlay Doesn't Show in TF2 General Discussion

read through all of your suggestions and still wasn't able to fix my overlay.

suggestions i tried were:
-removing mat_antialias from my autoexec
-installing a new version of mumble (1.2.5)
-turning off lightboost
-replacing my mumble_ol.dll

I didn't try rolling back my video drivers nor my mumble. Would someone be able to upload an old version of mumble for me to download? Also, how far back should I roll my nvidia drivers?

System information:
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Service Pack 1 (yes pharaoh)
DirectX runtime version: 11.0
Nvidia GTX 770
Driver version: 331.65

I was trying to look for a solution online and found someone who said that overlay only works on Service Pack 2. Is there even a SP2 for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit? I can't find it anywhere and I also don't know computers so that might be a dumb question.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestions and if you have any more shoot em my way!

[edit] ok so when I tried to delete the mumble_ol.dll file that alfie uploaded, I got the following error message:

http://puu.sh/75fdY.png

does this mean that GeForce Experience might be messing with my overlay?

#2 Getting stream added to list. in Requests

Hi B33p,

Sorry I can't add you because your past broadcasts do not show up. Twitch does not save broadcasts by default -- you must enable that within your Twitch settings.

Please bump this thread after you've recorded some VODs.

Thanks,

Hi Tool,

I just checked our internal system and it appears that your stream is still added
(i.e. it was never taken down).

Let me know if you need anything else and good luck with your stream!
