#6 Question About Incoming Data and Choke in Q/A Help

I've been getting the same thing for the past months. Just today I tried more things to fix it and it seemed going wired (if you're wireless right now) and setting up QOS on my router seemed to fix it.

#3 Overheating Wireless Network Card in Hardware
reillyIt's quite possible. I'm assuming it's PCI? I have a USB one that would overheat because of the CPU exhaust at the back, simply had to move it to the front. See if you can give it a bit more room inside (assuming it's PCI).

It's a PCI but it's also a laptop so don't think I can move it around... So would just getting a USB one be better?

#1 Overheating Wireless Network Card in Hardware

Is there a way to check if my wireless network card is overheating? After playing tf2 for a while I start to get massive lag spikes and start to partially lag out. But I don't notice anything until after the first 15-20 minutes after start playing so my guess would be it overheating and causing me to get those lag spikes lag. Never had this problem before in the past year or so and recently upgraded my router but still got it on both the old and new one. Don't really have the option to go wired right now.

#8 Help with tf2 graphics? in TF2 General Discussion

You may be getting fps drops just because of tf2 itself. Valve found a performance bug in tf2. Not sure if they fixed it or not so this may or may not be the case. http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/5777/

Also Shrugger might set his LOD to like 3 or something.

#10 I really need help with this crosshair on mac in TF2 General Discussion

My guess is because it's a mac then. Only other option might be to recreate the font for that crosshair that's for macs.

That's yz50's crosshair right? You could just try use his hud if it works then it might be installed wrong, if it still doesn't work might be because it's a Mac. http://www.mediafire.com/?qi3d4msoebzme5t

So 3 years later invisible players and the medigun beam will be fixed. Thanks Valve

#10 Is it just me or does the healbeam still not work? in TF2 General Discussion

The heal beam works for me in dx80 but not dx81. This could be a temporary fix for people who need the fps boost and can't live without the heal beam.
