Okay boys a2 is out with some hot new changes such as:

-Removed fences that covered right side and left side spawn area
-Scaled the map to be slightly bigger
-Cap area is also now bigger
-Highground (the area on right side spawn doors) is also bigger now
-Added couple props near middle spawn to make jumping on top of the right side highground much faster
-Fixed the issue of players not being visible when walking out of spawn
-Added railings on highground
-Changed cap name to fit the map more

I might just completely remove the fences at least from near the other spawn door, because they clutter up the area anyways.
But yeah I'll start working on these issues. I'll try to aim and release a2 pretty soon

VisFirst thing I notice from the screenshots is the small gullywash mid-like point, which really doesn't suit ultiduo much. It's hard to make new maps that are not exact copies of baloo or rb7 so great work nonetheless

Its not hard to make a different ultiduo map than baloo (see my previous project), but its more if people enjoy it actually. Baloo has been in the ultiduo scene forever and Id assume for quite obvious reasons.

Hey Im back with a new ultiduo map called ultiduo_city.

Its a slight mixture of baloo and the map canal I previously worked on (kinda dropped it inbetween because I lost interest in the game during rc4, I might get back to it again depending on demand).

But yeah all talk aside, feedback would be highly appreciated because thats how new versions start to get pushed out. Be as crude as possible when giving feedback I dont care, as long as point gets across.

TmbrThat was fast. Good job with the changes. A couple other small changes are pushing the other chainlink fence back in spawn like you did with the first one, and maybe getting rid of collision with the small edge of the roofs of the buildings near mid. These are just small things though, keep up the great work man.
EDIT: you can also stand on a small piece of the fence near the house

New versions are out! R3A2, with updates such as:

  • made the houses out of bounds to look more pretty. Also added some details on them!
  • spawn roofs are now aligned with the wall, so you're now able to jump upwards from the wall without getting stopped
  • fixed telephone being solid
  • made windows a bit higher (they didnt work that low!)
  • fixed a lighting issue in spawn
  • also fixed an awkward angle caused by a platform
  • also also fixed a clipping issue with the platform in the middle of the map
  • pushed chainlinks below stairs a little bit inside the staircase
  • small wooden doors on the small huts near middle point are not solid anymore
  • fixed a small corner on the red and blue hut roof that you were able to stand on
