Depends on how you learn and adapt best, if you can at all
some people learn quickest with an academic approach; reviewing demos, going over scrim/match statistics, watching tf2 videos/commentaries and utilizing all the advice they give.
Some people like to use a more social approach; going over strategies/demos and talking stuff out, playing cooperative games with your fellow teammates to build cohesion, etc.
I also think one of the best ways to get the hang of something is repetition, which would be just continuing to do what you're currently doing now.
