Get in contact with ignite gaming and ask what they would need to organize a lan, they are a business looking to make money so I'm sure they would be willing to tell you what would be required.
Also, ask someone like samiface for advice. She cant do it for you(I imagine) but there is no chance someone as passionate about lan as Sami wouldn't throw you at least a few pointers.

You can join one of the tf2 pug servers to test the client.
I see it once or twice a game, 2 or 3 times in a 10 minute round of dm. I'm pretty sure that combat text batching fixes it even if you set it to a fairly small interval.
No one is accusing the crossbow of being broken. The wrangler isn't broken, as far as I know it has no real bugs and works as intended, but that doesn't make it not dumb.

Firstly I feel I should address this to avoid confusion. I am pretty sure O'Keearns has never once said anything negative to another person in his entire life. What Morris means is that everyone once and a while O'Keearns will win a duel with a scout and say something like "wow I just juked the shit out of that guy" in mumble and not in game chat. It is ridiculous coming from O'Keerns because 99 percent of the time he is literally the nicest guy.
Okay(heh) now onto the real post. I demo'd for them season 26, subbed season 27 and scouted season 28 and can without any doubt in my mind say if it weren't for these guys I would have quit tf2 back in season 26. Seriously nothing anyone can write will really explain just how amazing of a group these guys are.
