That medHUD mod is just a simple edit that I did on stream a while back because I didn't like how the main UI looked and wanted to centralize it. I also only used files that were in the HUD (specifically referring to the goatHUD style target IDs)

If you can find a secondhand TV with an HDMI port, that might be worth considering. I myself use a secondhand TV as my 2nd monitor and having it double as both a TV and 2nd monitor is really helpful

If you don't mind glossy coatings, the white editions of the FK and EC mice (FK in your instance) feel great imo. It occasionally requires a wipe with a towel to get the grime from my hands off of it but so far my white EC1-A has served me well and I'm incredibly happy I bought it, and that's coming from a deathadder which supposedly has a better sensor.
The difference between the 2 was negligible at best and in the end I brought the differences in aiming down to shape rather than sensor. That's just my 2 cents though. I also haven't heard of any teased mice that are coming out soon that would be really worth waiting for. Might be I haven't been paying a lot of attention to that market as well.
