#1 koth_arctic/warmtic in Map Discussion

Hi all! The recent addition of cp_mojave triggered me to get back into tf2 and map making. A huge while ago I made koth_arctic for a highlander contest, and since then the map saw its fair share of competitive play, often times through koth_warmtic.

Warmtic had multiple small fixes applied to it by other people (like the Refresh team) to perfect it for competitive play. Since I always felt that I never properly finished Arctic myself, I'm currently trying to combine these fixes from Warmtic with other ideas that I had lying around myself. But additionally I want to try to gather broader feedback one last time before calling it finished! If best case it would ever be accepted into the game, I would then be sure that the Arctic version is not only the pub version, but also as competitively proof as possible.

I've ported most of the Warmtic fixes in the most recent version you can get through the workshop page. If anyone would be up for it, please take a look and leave me your 2 cents!

Of course the Arctic version is still night and winter themed, but I believe or hope that with sufficient lighting it should be possible to provide a clear enough vision while keeping the original theme. If it is still despised, I may opt for a re-release of Warmtic later on, but I am giving it a try with Arctic first. :-)

Thank you guys so much for playing it through the years, even if you didn't like the map!
