#113 What's got you down? in Off Topic

All my irl friends/family bully me for playing TF2 and can't seem to understand what is happening on my monitor especially when I play jump maps for long time periods. My friends who do understand what TF2 is say "stop playing this dead game already."

Burnout happens to everyone, especially those who grind the game without any breaks. My rule of thumb is to not force yourself to play the game since you actually get worse if you're not enjoying it. Even if TF2 is the only game you'll ever play (I can relate to this), consider trying out other gamemodes like dodgeball, jump, and surf.

zheepreconsider ur decision to not take a break from tf2 and just play single player games/do something therapeutic

theres only one person on this earth who was born to be nothing more than a tf2 player and it's not u

Jumping was a great outlet for me after I quit playing comp; it's kind of a single-player game within TF2 and helps me relax.

#3 Thoughts on wallbugging? in TF2 General Discussion

No, it adds another layer of depth to the game, and it's pretty easy to counter if you learn which spots to look for.

Ragor"Map Exploits - It is illegal to use a map glitch to ones advantage when that was not the original intention of the map maker" - per the ESEA TF2 rules

'original intention of the map maker' is a bit ambiguous, I guess inquire with the map makers to determine if it's intended

But it's technically already banned.
