#5 Looking for gameplay critique (Mostly Pyro) in Mentoring
alec_u can just ask ppl to watch ur video instead of pretending u want critiques and feedback on highlights of u winning every fight

I understand what you're saying! And I was somewhat afraid it'd come off like that.

There definitely was an element of that, I certainly do like showing people the things I've made, though if I just wanted people to watch it I would have gone to reddit instead of going out of my way to create an account on a competitive forum. I've got no interest in numbers, as I actually stopped being a content creator a little over a year ago after having it be my job that got me through college (not American college, I wasn't making THAT much money). I do not have an incentive to go out of my way to make up lies about this kinda thing, though you only really have my word to go on so I do not blame your skepticism.

All the same, I apologize if this comes across as a self-promo-y. Not my intent.

#1 Looking for gameplay critique (Mostly Pyro) in Mentoring

Hello! My name is Scout. I've been playing TF2 for about 12 years (not 100% consistently, many gaps where I didn't play, but that's life) and I feel like I've gotten pretty good. That said, my exposure to the game is almost entirely on the casual side of things, with only 2 UGC 4's badges to show for a brief and unenthusiastic soiree with competitive back when I was in highschool.

I recently started a TF2 clip journal in the form of a twitter account where I post a clip of gameplay every so often, but I enjoyed doing that enough that I ended up making a compilation which I think has a lot of pretty competent frags. The thing is, I've had this idea that I'm "pretty good" at TF2 for a while without really critically examining what that means, mostly because I feel like I don't really have the eyes or experience for it. And while I don't know that I'm terribly interested in joining a comp team, I'd still like to be better in my everyday gameplay abilities, cuz this game is really important to me!

If you watch from start to finish there's quite a bit of typical casual silliness, but luckily it's divvied into chunks, with the overall most competent chunks being part 2 (3:14) and part 5 (7:10).

I believe that there are likely issues with my overall decision making that I don't even realize I have, because I don't know how to look for them. If anything is glaringly obvious (aside from my tendency to bite off more than I can chew in terms of matchups, which I'm aware of) please let me know! My only ask is that it be constructive criticism 0:^]

I very much appreciate your time!
