#31 we need to talk in TF2 General Discussion

DDoSing is a federal crime and that needs to be understood.

Like, seriously, you can destroy someone's life by reporting them to the police with hard evidence they're involved in controlling, maintaining, creating, or funding a botnet in any way.

So let's do that.

spammyGeel9Look on the bright side: with Froyo out, someone else has a chance to win.I'm not trying to offend your NA flag in any way, but there are EU teams that deserve to win as much as everyone else in a whole competition.

It was just a joke friendly friend

KanecoOhh and not to mention this tournament was backed by Zowie (one of the few companies that cares about our scene) and I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't be too happy if the arguably most famous and most marketable team in the whole tournament dropped without any warning on the day of the tournament.

At least tomahawk is a very approachable person and I think we'll be all good regarding them but it's still highly unprofessional what happened today.

I think trying to use sponsors as ammo against a team isn't quite fair. Speaking as the owner of Sweetstakes.tf, I'm not quite so ready to just lambast Froyotech. Shit happens.

PwnuOddishDang. When I saw this event and saw that that moron of the community named Plotchy was an admin of the PR team (lol...), I knew to stay far far away. Especially since he's trade banned and is generally the cancer of this small community. http://steamcommunity.com/id/plotchy Thought everyone would kinda double check and think the same way? Didn't realize flares that care would get this popular, lol! Unfortunate.Honestly Plotchy isn't that bad of a guy. He's just a scammer. I've been playing with him for a year now, he is a pretty chill dude overall. I think you got scammed by him though, so I understand why you hate him. We've got different perspectives, I see the good, you saw the bad. If you actually knew him you'd probably like him.

People who steal from others are scumbag human beings, dude. No matter how they act with their "friends"

His net goes off at a certain time during the night (his dad cuts it)
The issue is more that he's been offline since the exact minute that this thread got made

Not suspicious AT ALL
that was at 12:00 AM on the hour EST, which would support the dad theory....

Anyone whose father both has and exercises the ability to cut off their internet should not be in charge of a charity event whose stated goal is to collect hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in both real money and personal assets, some of which are given directly to said event holders, with the mere assumption that it is delivered to the correct place.

Yeah this is absurdly damning. I'd say stay far, far away from this entire event.
