I really don't even know him well, I only met him in mge recently. Also it's not just "one shitty demo" he was streaming on twitch for like an hour. And people cried trigger bot when it blatantly wasn't..
Try seeing it from my perspective; I see a guy trying to prove he doesn't hack so he starts a stream, he doesn't hack and beats everyone. People say he hacks anyway. Seems to me like he's just being crucified because of his reputation when he was.. what, based on the twitch chat he was 12-13, maybe 14-15 years old, ddosing people? I mean I wasn't around back then so I don't even know if this is the same person or if the allegations are founded, but crying about a 13 year old being childish years ago and nullifying any modicum of actual skill he might have just based on spite seems really childish.
He's been nothing but kind to me since I've met him and I haven't seen him hack once, so I guess I don't want to jump on the bandwagon and hate him and call him a hacker just because other people tell me to. I've played competitively in half a dozen other games & a ton of different communities. From experience 99%, of them were filled with really dumb, ignorant, yet egotistical people who were constantly talking out of their own asses.
I've already witnessed at least a portion of this community being really spineless and spiteful on more than once occasion.
TBH, I don't think half of you are as intelligent as you think you are and I could NOT care any less about any of your opinions of me, if you "hate" me or whatever. If you'd hate someone for such a petty reason then you're garbage whose acceptance I don't want in the first place.

tl;dr someone mge him, record, prove he's a hacker and if proven I will personally submit all evidence to valve every time I see him in a game in an attempt to vac ban him over and over again.

This is exactly the 'muh power classes' mentality that I was talking about. Shouldn't be able to beat a combat class? What law of the universe dictates that. Did it occur to you while you were searching for an obnoxious reaction image that maybe the purpose of this update is to buff the engineer's effectiveness in combat? Did it occur to you that the labels 'combat' and 'support' were invented to describe a classes then-current effectiveness in combat, and should not be used dogmatically to enforce these distinctions well after the fact?
im genuinely flummoxed as to how to respond to this

basket I think the main purpose of the recent buff is to give engi decent odds against soldiers and demomen in a fight, instead of just getting 2 shot instantly.
engineer isnt a combat class, a non-combat class shouldnt have such an easy to use and foolproof method to beat combat classes in direct combat

The Short Circuit isn't even any good. Any engie who charges with it dies because all it does is mosquito bites and only within melee range basically. No you can't spam rockets at them, woe is you, thats kind of the point (even before the update), murder them with a shotgun or even your melee weapon, it likely out DMs the sc anyway. Theres no way I'm switching out a wrangler for a sc because I can do way, way more damage using wrangled sentries anyway.
Stop being bad.
EDIT: Before anyway says it, no this does not make sentry nest invincible. You have more rockets then he does metal and the SC eats metal like a fat kid eats cake. One or two soldiers/demos spamming at a sentry nest will still kill it because the engie will waste all his metal using the dumb SC and not be able to repair his gun/disp in time before the next metal cycle of the disp. If anything this weapon HURTS sentry nest holding/camping.
EDIT TWO: And any engie running minis can now only drop one mini and have half the ammo for spamming it, making himself that much worse. He'll knock out maybe 2-3 rockets before hes out of metal so his mini dies AND he can't instantly spawn a new one.
no offence but its not a case of being bad its a case of not being able to do anything
if a weapon forces people to use a different weapon to actually be able to deal damage then theres a problem there
its not worth it to play soldier or demo in any environment that allows the short circuit because it can 100% hard counter demos and 100% hard counter shotgunless soldiers

20fps to consistent 120 is pretty phenomenal as far as knowing what the fuck is going on.
