quake live problem?

Ok so since im not getting a reply from anyone on quake live forums i guess ill ask here.
So my game has been working fine when i boot it up, but recently it has been saying this thing that says "the underlying connection was closed: the connection was closed unexpectedly" and i looked at other forums there and they said something to do with cmd. The thing with me is, when i comes to stuff like that i have little to no knowledge at all.
So at first i tried to launch with and without firewall, same problem occurred wtf. So next i tried to uninstall the game and try to reinstall it. After reinstalling it the same problem occurred once again, so me being the retard i am when it comes to figuring out how to work games decided to uninstall the game once again, so now whenever i start the download it says "Installer integrity has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy." So at this point i just gave up all hope and decided to look at the forums, and i still dont know what to do.

On stream he showed a photo of this girl that he used to have a crush on and basically called her fat in front of like 350 people and saying she crushed his dreams bc she "used to be really hot". Proceeds to call me out for saying it was rude, but honestly I'll take a callout for not supporting public shaming of people based off their bodies.
