If there's more than just ETF2L and UGC out there, and this stuff's regular, why doesn't someone make a big season chart or calender of all the stuff you can sign up to? (or do these already exist and I've just missed them?)

If the TF2 community wants more participation in cups and stuff that isn't ETF2L-ESEA-UGC, someone needs to gather together what's on, who can play, what you need to commit, and when it's happening, all in one place, and then the community needs to hand that around,

DiplomattThese top players are so disconnected from people actually playing in open. There is no fun in playing vs a high team when you're at open level. What is fun is playing against people at a similar skill level or slightly better so you have a close game and a chance at winning, rather than getting 5-0'd straight away every time. Its not about worrying about losing, its the fact that getting stomped is no fun at all and isn't worth your time just because some people are complaining about not enough sign ups.
If you want open people to sign up host a cup for open/mid players so its actually fun and beneficial.
it's not like ur being forced to play the same league as them every season. idk why you wouldn't go for the opportunity to play with big players. if ur sunday league team was offered to play against barcelona would you say no as well?

CoD4 remastered?

kirbyIt's a shame there's only going to be 10 maps for the remaster. I'd like to know why, but there's no reason as far as I know. As long as Crash, Strike, Vacant and Crossfire* are included, I'm fine. Wouldn't mind some Backlot* and Carentan though. I can only imagine why it's only included in special editions, but they should just release them separately. I'd gladly pay $40 for CoD4. Maybe IW will be a great game, maybe not. I don't care. They'd 100% make a lot more sales if CoD4 was separate, but that's on them I guess.
* - I think I read that these maps were already confirmed, but I don't remember.
backlot, crash, crossfire are confirmed so far. can imagine it'll be strike, vacant, district, then 4 pub maps (maybe a shiny new one to show off their graphics)
